A simple way to determine the swing of your door is to stand in the doorway with your back to the hinges with one foot on either side of the jamb and to swing your arm out in the direction that the door swings or that you wish the door to swing. For example, if you stood in the doorway of the left hand door with your back to the hinges your left arm should swing in the direction of the door.
